Rams Injury News: Gerald Everett Ruled Out For Week 15 Game Against Cowboys; Rob Havenstein Listed As Doubtful

The Los Angeles Rams are preparing for yet another extremely important game on Sunday. The team will travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys, seeking their third straight win to help secure a playoff spot.

The Rams are coming off a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks that drastically improved their chances of a playoff berth. Lately, the wins have been coming in as the Rams have been shorthanded, and for their upcoming matchup, that will again be the case.

According to Stu Jackson of therams.com, the Rams once again be missing Gerald Everett while Rob Havenstein is doubtful:

Should Havenstein miss this game, it would be his fifth game in a row that he has sat out. Curiously, the Rams listed Havenstein as having participated in full practices this week.

Havenstein missing games continues a trend of injured offensive lineman this season, a major problem for the Rams. Although it appears that Jared Goff will end up being sacked less this year than he was last season, the inconsistent offensive line certainly was not helping the Rams offensive woes earlier this season.

Rookie right tackle Bobby Evans has performed well in Havenstein’s absence though, so the team will give him an extra week to get back to 100%.

As for Everett, this would be his third consecutive missed game. Although Everett has been one of the more productive tight ends for the team through his career, Tyler Higbee has more than stepped up to fill that role.

Over the last two games, Higbee has totaled 223 yards on just 14 catches, including one touchdown. Rams head coach Sean McVay decided to re-tool the offense after a disappointing start to the season and the focus on Higbee has proved to be fruitful.

Nismba Webster was signed as an undrafted free agent earlier this year and has spent most of the season on the practice squad. He made the full roster in November, so far appearing in two games as a special teams player. He will likely not be seeing time in the wide receiver position but is the team’s primary punt returner with JoJo Natson out.
