Rams Injury News: Gerald Everett Out, Rob Havenstein Doubtful For Week 14 Game Against Seahawks

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay announced on Friday that tight end Gerald Everett is out and right tackle Rob Havenstein is doubtful for the Week 14 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Everett suffered a knee injury in the Week 12 loss against the Baltimore Ravens and although it was not believed to be serious, he is now missing his second straight game.

The third-year tight end is in the midst of a career season, already posting personal-bests in receptions (37) and receiving yards (408) while scoring a pair of touchdowns in 11 games.

Tyler Higbee is the team’s starter at tight end largely due to his blocking, but he also had a career day against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13 while Everett was out, so look for him to establish himself as a receiver once again this week.

Havenstein has missed the last three games due to a knee injury as well, and although McVay said earlier this week that he is making good progress, it looks like he will be forced to sit out a fourth straight game.

Rookie tackle Bobby Evans would get another start in his place if that is the case, and he has actually played well in recent weeks.

Going into their Week 14 matchup against the Seahawks, the Rams sit one game out of the final NFC Wild Card spot at 7-5. That makes this game essentially a must-win for Los Angeles if they want to keep pace with the other top teams in the conference.
