The Los Angeles Rams’ 2024 regular season opponents have been revealed, which include teams from the AFC East and NFC North in addition to their usual slate against the NFC West.

The Rams will host the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks at SoFi Stadium. All-in-all, the Rams will host five playoff teams from the 2023 season.

After playing an extra road game in 2023, the Rams return to having an extra home game next season as part of the NFL’s 17-game schedule. The additional home game is against the Raiders.

The Rams’ road opponents for the 2024 season are the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, Cardinals, Seahawks and 49ers.

The group consists of only two playoff teams from the 2023 season, but it should be a tougher schedule than it appears on paper as the Saints and Seahawks narrowly missed the postseason, and Aaron Rodgers should be back at quarterback for the Jets.

Meanwhile, the Bears are coming off a promising season that saw them secure the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, while the Cardinals showed signs of improvement after Kyler Murray returned from a torn ACL.

The Rams’ matchups against the Eagles, Raiders and Saints are new additions based on outcomes from Week 18 games, which saw L.A. wind up finishing second in their division. The full 2024 NFL schedule, including dates and times of games, will be announced in mid-May.

Matthew Stafford ‘excited’ for Rams’ Wild Card matchup against Lions

The Rams secured the No. 6 seed in the NFC and will play the Lions during Wild Card Weekend. The matchup is intriguing as it features Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff facing their former teams.

Stafford spent 12 seasons with the Lions and is looking forward to returning to Detroit for the first time since the blockbuster trade that sent him to L.A.
