The Los Angels Rams’ 200 NFL season came to an unfortunate end with their loss to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round.

Their success this year has not gone unnoticed around the league with coaches and players alike set to receive major paydays in the offseason. Although they may have come up short, there is plenty for the Rams to be optimistic about moving forward.

L.A. is now set to shift gears towards the challenges that lie ahead going into the 2021 NFL season. Their home and away opponents for next year have since been announced:

HOME
Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Detroit Lions
Chicago Bears
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans

AWAY
Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals
New York Giants
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts

The Rams have their fair share of high-profile matchups set to take place at SoFi Stadium next season. Their slate is headlined by a rematch with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as a showdown with running back Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans.

Perhaps the most highly anticipated home game will be against the Detroit Lions as that will mark the return of Jared Goff, who was traded for Matthew Stafford.

Depending on the time of year, L.A. will also be paying a visit to the cold when they take on the New York Giants along with their rematch against the Packers. Of course, their biggest test will be the usual slate of tough NFC West opponents between the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.

The NFL is reportedly looking to expand its 2021 campaign to 17 games for the first time in league history. If they do, the Rams are expected to take on the Baltimore Ravens in another star-studded matchup.

The restrictions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic prevented L.A. from ushering in a new era at SoFi Stadium properly. It will be interesting to see if fans will be allowed to make up for lost time at the stadium next year.
