After a rough loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football, the Los Angeles Rams bounced back in Week 13 with a blowout road win, defeating the Arizona Cardinals, 34-7, to improve to 7-5 on the year.

Jared Goff has been the subject of a lot of criticism this year after signing a record-breaking contract extension. He put up perhaps his best game of the season against an Arizona defense that is one of the worst in the league, moving the ball down the field seemingly all day long.

Goff sat out most of the fourth quarter with the game already out of reach, but he still finished completing 32-of-43 passes for 424 yards and a pair of touchdown passes.

He was looking for Robert Woods the whole game and the duo were able to connect for 13 receptions for 172 yards, which is a career-high for the wide receiver. Rams tight end Tyler Higbee also had a career day through the air, hauling in seven receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown as he took on an every-down role with Gerald Everett missing the game due to injury.

It wasn’t just through the air that Los Angeles found success though. Todd Gurley also got the job done on the ground, carrying the ball 19 times for 95 yards and a touchdown while also adding a reception for 20 yards.

The Rams defense struggled mightily to contain Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense a week ago, but perhaps they learned from that game as they did a much better job on Kyler Murray this week. Los Angeles was seemingly pressuing Murray all day and the result was six sacks and an interception.

The interception fell into the hands of rookie safety Taylor Rapp in the third quarter, the first of his young career. After already having an interception called back due to a penalty, Rapp made this one count, returning it for a touchdown to essentially putting the game out of reach in the third quarter.
