The Los Angeles Rams hosted the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17 looking to end their season on a high note in their final game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

As was the case in the team’s first matchup against the Cardinals, the offense was able to move the ball with ease, leading to a 31-24 victory.

The 2019 season was an up-and-down one for Rams quarterback Jared Goff, but he was able to end the year with one of his best games of the season. He completed 29-of-45 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns, playing turnover-free football.

Goff was able to find his usual suspects all day long as Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee and Robert Woods all had solid games in which they caught touchdown passes. Kupp finished with seven catches for 99 yards, while Higbee had eight catches for 84 yards and Woods had seven for 67.

It was only fitting that Woods, who played 100 games at the Coliseum as a member of the Rams and in college at USC, caught the team’s final touchdown to seal the victory.

In addition to the fine offensive performance, the Rams defense also came up with some timely plays, turning the ball over five times. Rookie safety Taylor Rapp led the way with an interception and a fumble recovery, also finishing with six total tackles.

Cory Littleton also recovered a fumble before exiting with an injury in perhaps his final game as a Ram as he gets set to hit free agency. Darious Williams came up with an interception and Samson Ebukam recovered a fumble on the final play of the game to seal the victory.

The Rams finished the season at 9-7, and while that is disappointing, there is plenty of optimism within the organization moving forward as they get set to move into their new home, SoFi Stadium, in 2020.
