Coming off the bye week, the Los Angeles Rams got back on track by picking up a huge 23-16 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10.

The feeling coming into the game was that the Rams would need to keep up offensively with the Seahawks, but that was never the case as the defense stepped up and prevented Russell Wilson from ever heating up. Wilson was held to only 248 passing yards and threw two interceptions that allowed Los Angeles to stay well in front.

The Rams’ secondary played about as well as anyone could have hoped for, limiting the star receiving duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett to only seven receptions and 94 yards. Jalen Ramsey spent most of the afternoon shadowing Metcalf on the outside, while Darious Williams continued his impressive 2020 campaign with a pair of interceptions.

Leonard Floyd also had a productive outing, racking up three sacks to bring his season total to seven. Rookie Terrell Lewis and Michael Brockers added to the team total with three combined sacks between them.

The offense looked much better against a Seattle defense that has been bleeding points to opposing teams. Jared Goff completed 27 of his 37 passing attempts for 302 yards, while Malcolm Brown gashed the Seahawks on the ground for two rushing touchdowns.

Josh Reynolds led the wide receivers with eight receptions for 94 yards, and Tyler Higbee followed that up with 60 receiving yards on three catches. Cam Akers finally saw more involvement on the ground, toting the ball 10 times for 38 yards.

Overall, it was a complete game from the Rams and they now sit tied for first atop the NFC West with the Seahawks. Goff and the offense looked much better, but at this point it is safe to say that the defense is what will carry this team going forward.
