In a letter to season ticket holders, Los Angeles Rams president Kevin Demoff announced that the organization will be revealing their new logo and colors on Monday at 12 p.m. PT during a livestream on their website. The Rams’ new uniforms will be revealed at a later date.
While the start of free agency has been tough for the Rams, losing so many key players in Todd Gurley, Cory Littleton, Dante Fowler Jr., Clay Matthews, Michael Brockers and Nickell Robey-Coleman, they still retain a talented young team with some high-upside additions.
Not only is there a lot to be excited about on the field in 2020, but off it as well as the Rams will be ushering in a new era at SoFi Stadium. The organization called the L.A. Memorial Coliseum home for their first four seasons after moving back to the West Coast, but Stan Kroenke’s new state-of-the-art stadium is expected to be ready the next time the Rams take the field.
With a new stadium is also coming a complete rebrand for the Rams, which is why they are designing new logos, colors and uniforms. A recently leaked photo of the logo was confirmed by a reporter, and fans did not react positively.
Demoff has been on social media all offseason taking the pulse of Rams fans, so the negative reaction may have prompted a change, if the leaked photo was even the real logo in the first place. Demoff confirmed in his letter about the logo: “It’s not the hat that you saw on social media a few weeks ago.”
Regardless though, with the country essentially on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Rams social media team will likely put a nice unveiling together for their new logo and colors.
