The Los Angeles Rams had a couple of roster spots left to work with heading into organized team activities. Although head coach Sean McVay is optimistic about the lack of glaring weaknesses in the roster, they have nothing to lose by filling out the 90-man limit to begin offseason workouts.

The Rams suffered some notable losses in the secondary with the departure of safety John Johnson III and cornerback Troy Hill in free agency. While they managed to alleviate the blow by bringing back cornerback Darious Williams, they will be relying on a few unproven options to step up and fill the void.

As a result, L.A. decided to use their remaining roster spots to bring in some more secondary personnel. According to NFL Reporter Aaron Wilson, they have signed former Tennessee Titans cornerback Kareem Orr:

Orr came into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and even managed to crack the final 53-man roster with the Titans. He etched out a rotational role for himself on defense and special teams where he played 46 snaps on defense and 17 on special teams.

Orr once again played 46 snaps on defense during the 2020 campaign but managed to take on an increased role on special teams with 39. The 24-year-old was waived back in May after the Titans added defensive back Greg Mabin and linebacker Justin March.

The Rams currently have Williams and star cornerback Jalen Ramsey holding down the starting positions. Cornerbacks David Long Jr. and Donte Deayon are expected to provide some depth in the rotation after seeing minimal action last season, but it will be interesting to see if rookie Robert Rochelle surpasses them in the pecking order.

Orr will have plenty of competition from other bubble players looking to secure a spot on the final roster. Fortunately, his experience on special teams should help provide an edge.
