The Los Angeles Rams announced they activated tight end Tyler Higbee and safety Jordan Fuller off the Reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday’s Week 16 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
This represents very good news for the Rams as they are as close to full strength as they’ve been in the last two weeks. They got a number of key players back for last week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks such as Jalen Ramsey, Odell Beckham Jr., Von Miller, Justin Hollins and Darrell Henderson.
Now, they get their tight end in Higbee and their best safety and defensive play-caller in Fuller back. While neither are considered stars, both are very important to this Rams team given their lack of depth at both positions.
In 12 games this season, Higbee has 44 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns. Fuller has played in 13 games and has 96 total tackles with four passes defensed.
As things currently stand, the only Rams player from the 53-man roster who’s still on the Reserve/COVID-19 list is offensive lineman Joe Noteboom. Just a week ago, almost half the roster was on it, so it is good to see that guys are getting healthy and the organization-wide outbreak seems to be behind the Rams.
At 10-4, the Rams have a golden opportunity to win the NFC West and go into the playoffs with some momentum if they can win their final three games.
