The Raiders have struggled as of late, losing four of their last five games. This week they take the dreaded trip to the Eastern time zone to face the New York Jets and their staunch defense. While both teams have struggled at times this year, the Raiders will go into the game as slight underdogs.

Despite their rece

nt loss to the Cowboys there have been some positives for the Raiders. Their special teams has been coming up with huge plays recently, and wide receiver Andre Holmes has been stepping up and making big plays for the offense, while Nick Roach has been the Raiders best defender as of late.

Talk has also begun for next season as the Raiders will look to build on the foundation they have laid in the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft. Sports Illustrated put out its latest mock draft and they had the Raiders selecting the controversial, but talented quarterback Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M with the eighth selection. If the Raiders were to go the quarterback route, it would be interesting to see what the Raiders would do with Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin.
