After fighting the injury bug all season, the Raiders continue to be plagued as two key players will be out this week. Running back Darren McFadden has been ruled inactive with a hamstring injury and cornerback D.J. Hayden is out with a groin injury. The Raiders will look for the backups to step up in their place and be productive.

Rashad Jennings will fill in for McFadden and looks to repeat his performance last week when he had over 170 total yards and a touchdown. Fullback Marcel Reece may also be given a bigger role in this week’s offense. Both players are capable of having a big game to lead the team.

On defense, cornerback Phillip Adams will take the place of Hayden, who has struggled so far this season. Adams, Mike Jenkins and Tracy Porter will attempt to shut down a passing offense that has two receivers on pace for 1,000 receiving yards.

In order to improve to 4-5 and throw themselves back in the playoff race, the Raiders must overcome the injuries to beat the New York Giants. The offense and defense must play hard to earn a victory.
