Raiders Betting Line: Raiders Slight Favorites Against Eagles

USATSI_8029094_154224518_lowresDuring their bye week, Terrelle Pryor said he made progress working with Tom House and watching game film. Pryor certainly didn’t disappoint on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers as he ran for a 93-yard touchdown on the team’s opening drive. The momentum was on the Raiders’ side for most of the game as they opened up a 21-3 lead with two touchdowns from Darren McFadden. Unfortunately, the game got close in the fourth quarter, but the Raiders were able to hold on, 21-18. With a 3-4 record, the Raiders have already exceeded expectations and look to keep their playoff hopes alive. Fortunately for the Raiders, they are slight favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9 via Sportsbook: untitled For the first time this season, the Raiders have an opportunity to win consecutive games against the depleted Eagles. With Michael Vick unlikely to play and uncertainty surrounding Nick Foles’ concussion, Matt Barkley may start. The former USC star has struggled tremendously in his first two appearances. He has thrown for 287 yards and four interceptions without a single touchdown.

With the 5th ranked defense in the league and Pryor improving each week, the Raiders look to get to .500. (h/t Raiders Tribune)
