With their win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17, the Los Angeles Rams officially finished the regular season 10-6, clinching a postseason berth as the No. 6 seed in the NFC.

While the goal for the Rams was to win the NFC West and they were unable to accomplish it, it was still a very successful season that led to a return to the playoffs after failing to get in at 9-7 a year ago.

The real season begins now though, and the Rams will begin the postseason by traveling to take on the No. 3 seed Seattle Seahawks this weekend.

These are two teams that are very familiar with each other, of course, having split their first two meetings this season. The Seahawks came out on top in Seattle in Week 16, which clinched the NFC West crown for them.

In addition to the Rams clinching themselves a playoff berth with the win over the Cardinals, they also did the same for the Chicago Bears, who sneak in as the No. 7 seed after losing to the Green Bay Packers and finishing the season at 8-8.

With the addition of an extra playoff team in each conference, only the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs will get byes in the first round. This was a pretty balanced year in the NFL, which makes for some quality first-round matchups in both the NFC and AFC.
