NFL Reschedules Rams’ Week 15 Game Against Seahawks To Tuesday

The NFL announced they have officially moved the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 15 game against the Seattle Seahawks from Sunday to Tuesday at 4 p.m. PT due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. The game will be televised on Fox, as was the case if it would’ve been played on Sunday.

The Rams’ Covid outbreak began before their Week 14 game against the Arizona Cardinals when Darrell Henderson, Jalen Ramsey, Tyler Higbee, Rob Havenstein and Dont’e Deayon were all placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and missed the game.

As of Thursday, the Rams are now up to 25 players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, including stars Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller.

With the quick turnaround from Monday night to Sunday, there was simply not enough time to know if the Rams will have enough healthy bodies to play the Seahawks, which is why the NFL is moving it back to Tuesday.

In addition to the Rams-Seahawks game, the NFL also moved back two others as the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns will be playing on Monday, while the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles will be playing at the same time on Tuesday.

Whether the Rams will have enough players clear protocol by Tuesday in order to play remains to be seen, and if they don’t then a possible forfeit could happen as the NFL likely does not want to postpone games any further than Tuesday or potentially Wednesday.

Regardless, hopefully all of the Rams and other NFL players that have tested positive are OK and will return to the field soon.
