The 2021-22 NFL season was a memorable one for the Los Angeles Rams as they won the NFC West and then went on to win their first Super Bowl in more than two decades.
What made it even more special is that it came at home as the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. It marked the second straight year that a team won the Super Bowl in its home stadium with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers doing so in 2021.
Overall, Super Bowl week in L.A. was something that everybody enjoyed as the weather was perfect and SoFi Stadium remains one of the most beautiful sporting venues in the world.
With how big of a success it was, it appears the Rams are already trying to host another Super Bowl. According to Arash Markazi of Sporting Tribune, Rams COO Kevin Demoff is hoping that the big game will be back in L.A. as soon as 2027:

It remains to be seen if the Rams and SoFi Stadium will be awarded the game in 2027, but if they don’t then they probably will get one in the next few years after that.
As Markazi alluded to, there is potential that SoFi Stadium will play host to the World Cup the year before in 2026 although they will need to make changes to the width of the field in order for that to happen. It remains to be seen if the Rams will be willing to do that, although they have time to do so if they do want to host the biggest soccer tournament in the world.
While Demoff and the Rams are hoping to add another Super Bowl as well, they have a lot of work to do if they want to be in a position to play in that game in 2027. The team is currently going through a “remodel” of their roster and will likely take a big step back in 2023 before having a ton of cap space and draft picks a year from now.
