The Oakland Raiders had to replace two of their best offensive weapons against the Houston Texans in Week 11 with Terrelle Pryor (knee) and Darren McFadden (hamstring) out with injury, but it may have been a blessing in disguise. Rookie quarterback Matt McGloin and backup running back Rashad Jennings both had breakout performances on the road.
Despite the fact the Texans possess an elite defense and have arguably one of the best defensive players in the NFL in J.J. Watt, Jennings was able to break free of the defense to explode for an 80-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter. Jennings’ touchdown helped propel the Raiders to victory with the storied franchise ultimately coming away with the win, 28-23.
