FOCO released a limited-edition Odell Beckham Jr. bobblehead to commemorate his moonwalk celebration after scoring a touchdown for the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
Matthew Stafford’s 17-yard touchdown pass to Beckham gave the Rams a lead over the Cincinnati Bengals in the first quarter. Unfortunately for Beckham, however, he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during the second quarter of the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium.
If not for the injury, it’s possible he would have been named Super Bowl 56 MVP, which ultimately went to Cooper Kupp.
Beckham remains a free agent but Rams fans remember the enigmatic wide receiver in a positive light. The Beckham bobblehead is stationed atop a moon-themed base with the Super Bowl LVI logo behind it.
The bobbleheads are individually numbered out of 322 and will not be available once inventory sells out. Such occurred with a Kupp bobblehead that recognized his being named the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year.
Rams Super Bowl bobbleheads for Kupp, Johnny Hekker, Andrew Whitworth and Jalen Ramsey are among those that sold out as well.
The Rams mini bobbleheads set features Rams mascot Rampage, Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford, Cam Akers, Kupp, Beckham, Jalen Ramsey and Von Miller.
Will Rams re-sign OBJ?
If there is one silver lining for Beckham, the second ACL tear of his career led to a surgery that produced better results than the first operation when he suffered the same injury in his left knee during time with the Cleveland Browns.
Rams general manager Les Snead did not rule out re-signing Beckham, but he presumably would not be recovered until at least the middle of the 2022 regular season.
When Beckham signed with the Rams after being released by the Browns last November, the plan was to slot him alongside Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. If Beckham does re-sign with the Rams, he will still play with Kupp, but with Allen Robinson instead of Woods, who was traded to the Tennessee Titans.
