The Los Angeles Rams lost a valuable member of their coaching staff as Raheem Morris was hired by the Atlanta Falcons to be their new head coach.
Rams pass-game coordinator Zac Robinson has also been a popular name this offseason, interviewing for the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ respective offensive coordinator openings.
Robinson was said to be a top candidate to become the Falcons’ new offensive coordinator under Morris. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Robinson is indeed heading to Atlanta to reunite with Morris:

Saturday was a big day for Robinson as he and his wife Mia also welcomed their second child together, via Peter Schrager of Fox Sports:
Quite a day.
Zac Robinson and his wife Mia welcomed their second child, Cooper, at 6:17 PM EST. Twenty minutes later, Zac gave his agent Kyle McCarthy, the okay to say YES to Raheem Morris and to join @AtlantaFalcons as their new OC. Congrats to Zac, Mia, & big sis Madi! pic.twitter.com/ZKLuJLvJxY

Robinson had been part of the Rams coaching staff since 2019, when he was named the assistant quarterbacks coach following the departure of Zac Taylor.
Robinson was promoted to assistant wide receivers coach the following year before shifting back to his role of working with the team’s quarterbacks.
During his time with the Rams, Robinson helped Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield and Matthew Stafford find varying degrees of success. He will now be tasked with elevating Taylor Heinicke’s and Desmond Ridder’s games to another level, unless the Falcons draft or bring in another veteran quarterback.
Rams interested in Brandon Staley as Raheem Morris replacement
As the Rams look to replace Morris, they have reportedly shown interest in a potential reunion with former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley.
Staley previously served as the Rams defensive coordinator during the 2020 season. However, the Green Bay Packers have also spoken to Staley about their defensive coordinator opening, so there will be competition for his services.
