The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to host Los Angeles Rams night on Sunday, Sept. 3 against the Atlanta Braves.

Rams and Dodgers fans will receive a ticket to the game and an exclusive Rams day blanket when they purchase the event package through MLB’s website. Third-party purchases will not include the blanket and is not considered a stadium-wide promotion.

The blanket has a blue color base to reflect the color scheme the two teams share and is adorned with various Dodgers and Rams logos. Fans who purchase the ticket package will receive detailed instructions on how to get the blanket via email about one to three days before game day.

The Dodgers have done their part in welcoming the Rams to the Los Angeles sports world as they’ve held special crossover events since they came back to the city. The Dodgers have a foothold on the L.A. baseball market, so their involvement has helped the Rams build up their fanbase as well.

While the Dodgers are making another run at a World Series title this year, the Rams are closer to the opposite end of the spectrum as they’ve got a much younger and inexperienced roster. The Rams were forced to make several cost-saving moves in order to get under the NFL’s salary cap and thus will be relying on players who have yet to really make a name for themselves in the league.

However, the bright side is that the Rams should perform much better than they did in 2022 as they’ve got their three pillars in Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald 100 percent healthy for the new season. The star trio all saw their seasons get cut short due to injuries, but have all progressed well during the offseason and will be ready to go for Week 1.

Although the Rams will be far from the team that won Super Bowl LVI, they will be laying down the foundation of the team’s next

Rams won’t debut any new uniforms during 2023 season

During the league’s offseason, several teams have teased with fans new uniform designs as well as the debut of new throwback jerseys. The Rams recently went through an overhaul of their own uniform designs and last season made the change to have their modern white throwback jerseys as their primary road outfits.

While some thought that Los Angeles would debut some new threads of their own, Kevin Demoff said that the franchise isn’t looking to add any new uniforms next season.
