Only two days after reworking Aaron Donald’s deal to make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams signed star wide receiver Cooper Kupp to a three-year contract extension that keeps him in the organization through the 2026 season.
Kupp still had two years and $30 million left on the contract he signed with the Rams in 2020, but after a historic season that saw him capture the receiving triple crown, he was in line for a well-deserved raise.
Kupp’s extension adds on three years and around $80 million to his contract, bringing it to a total of five years and around $110 million. He is expected to get $75 million guaranteed, which is the most ever for a wide receiver.

Appearing in all 17 games last season, Kupp hauled in 145 receptions for 1,947 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, falling just shy of the NFL receiving record.
The former third-round draft pick out of Eastern Washington continued his dominance in the playoffs, where he had multiple game-winning catches to help L.A. win the Super Bowl.
Kupp caught two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals and was named Super Bowl LVI MVP for his outstanding performance.
