While most of the focus for the Los Angeles Rams organization and fans in recent weeks has been on their blockbuster trade for Matthew Stafford, it has been easy to forget that Super Bowl LV is this Sunday.

The Rams had a very successful 2020 season, although they fell short of their ultimate goal so will have to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl from home.

This matchup is certainly a good one as it features the best quarterback in the NFL today in Patrick Mahomes against the best of all-time in Tom Brady.

Mahomes and the Chiefs are currently rolling as the defending Super Bowl champs beat the Cleveland Browns in the divisional round and then a very tough Buffalo Bills team in the AFC Championship Game.

Meanwhile, Brady and the Buccaneers have continued to defy all odds with the 44-year-old being one of the rare quarterbacks to win three road games to get to the Super Bowl. Those wins came over the Washington Football Team, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers, and the reward is playing Super Bowl LV at home as it is set to take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.

All eyes will be on the two quarterbacks as Brady looks for his seventh Super Bowl title while Mahomes looks for his second straight as he continues to build his legacy.

Super Bowl LV is set for 3:30 p.m. PT and will be televised nationally on CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call. The Weeknd will be performing the halftime show, although it will not take place in the middle of the field due to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.
