Everyone thought the Ray Rice drama was done with after the two game suspension, but that was before video of the actual incident took place.
Now, the Ravens have announced that they have terminated the contract of Rice:
The #Ravens have terminated RB Ray Rice's contract this afternoon.

This was a pretty shocking move, and it all came about extremely quickly. Early Monday morning video was released by TMZ of the actual incident inside the elevator. Rice can be seen striking his now-wife who would then hit the rail, knocking her unconscious.
Rice had previously admitted to striking her, and the NFL responded by suspending him two games. Commissioner Roger Goodell took a boatload of criticism for the suspension with many believing the move was far too lax.
With the video now surfacing it was too much for the Ravens to handle and now Rice is without a job. He is still ineligible to play in Week 2, but he very well may be picked up by some RB needy team after the fact.
