The Los Angeles Rams will enter the 2025 season as one of of the favorites to come out of the NFC as they showed this past postseason that they should be taken seriously.

The Rams came the closest to knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles who eventually went on to win Super Bowl LIX, so there’s confidence in the organization that another year together will help position them to compete deep into the playoffs. Los Angeles’ roster on paper looks solid, with minimal glaring needs other than perhaps some more help at the cornerback position.

Head coach Sean McVay was able to revitalize the offense after tweaking his scheme and leaning into a more physical, run-first brand of football. To accomplish this, McVay needed better play from the offensive line and they delivered as the unit wound up being one of the best overall units in the league.

The Rams have been busy getting ready for training camp during OTAs and former left tackle Andrew Whitworth paid the team a visit, via the team’s official X account:

Following his visit, Whitworth expressed how much he enjoyed being back and what it meant to him, via his personal X account:

Felt good to be back out there with the fellas at @RamsNFL OTAs.

There’s something about being on that field—seeing the work, the bond, the grind—that hits different. Reminds you why you fell in love with this game in the first place.

Whitworth was a staple along Los Angeles’ offensive line when he came over in 2017 and he remained one of the best blindside protectors in the league. Whitworth battled through injuries to stay on the field and he was awarded with his first and only Super Bowl ring against his former team the Cincinnati Bengals.

Whitworth retired shortly after the win, going out as a champion and capping off a great career. Nowadays, Whitworth spends his time as an analyst and podcaster but still finds time to visit the Rams and remind the next generation of what it takes to win at the professional level.

Rams sign former Vikings offensive tackle David Quessenberry

The Rams have most of their starters along the offensive line set in Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Kevin Dotson and Rob Havenstein, but the team still went out and got more depth as they signed former Minnesota Vikings tackle David Quessenberry to a one-year deal.
