Puka Nacua was involved in several controversies at the end of the 2025 season that brought negative attention to the Los Angeles Rams on their way to the NFC Championship Game.
Nacua made headlines after unknowingly performing an antisemitic dance during an appearance on a livestream with Adin Ross and N3on. He also raised some eyebrows when he implied that some NFL officials only make calls for the sole purpose of getting on TV.
The fallout from the livestream appearance included a $25,000 fine from the NFL and the Rams blocking the aforementioned streamers from entering their practice facility during a short week.
Nacua has seemingly learned from his past mistakes and does not plan to livestream in the future.
“There’s definitely a little bit more thought in going, what’s going on,” Nacua said during an appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast.
“Let’s preface, let’s have somewhat of an itinerary of some of the things that might be happening or what’s going to be said and done. I wouldn’t say I’m big into the streaming world anymore. I think I had a decent little run, and I think I’m over it.”
Given all of his previous off-the-field trouble, it appears that Nacua is trying to stay out of the spotlight this year.
The 25-year-old is entering a pivotal season as he looks to secure a long-term contract extension from the Rams. He is coming off his best year yet, catching an NFL-best 129 passes for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games (15 starts).
Despite being without a deal, Nacua never considered holding out from the Rams and has been present for all of the team’s practices thus far. However, he has been limited in recent days due to a minor groin injury.

While Nacua’s focus is on the field, he is still making sure things will be handled off of it as well. He recently hired Win Sports Group to represent him in contract negotiations.
Win Sports Group also represents Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who became the highest-paid receiver in NFL history back in March, as well as Zay Flowers of the Baltimore Ravens, who just signed a $140 million extension.
Considering how active they have been in getting their clients at his position paid, Nacua going to them makes all the sense in the world.
