Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua has proven himself to be one of, if not the best player at his position in the NFL today. And soon he will be paid like it as he is entering the final year of his contract and will surely be seeking a deal to make him the highest paid wide receiver in the league.
Nacua and the Rams have been unable to come to terms on a contract extension this offseason, but that hasn’t prevented him from being in attendance at training camp. And while his focus is on the field, he is still making sure things will be handled off of it as well as he has hired Win Sports Group to represent him in contract negotiations, via Adam Schefter of ESPN:

Win Sports Group also represents Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who became the highest-paid receiver in NFL history back in March, as well as Zay Flowers of the Baltimore Ravens, who just signed a $140 million extension that will keep him in Baltimore through the 2031 season. Considering how active they have been in getting their clients at his position paid, Nacua going to them makes all the sense in the world.
Nacua has more than proven his worth in his three seasons with the Rams and is coming off the best year of his career last season. He led the NFL with 129 receptions to go along with 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was a Pro Bowler and All-Pro First Team selection while helping push the Rams to the NFC Championship Game.
Of course, Nacua wants to lead the Rams even further this season and get this team back to the Super Bowl and the organization has done everything to build this roster and do just that. But the receiver wants to be paid like the top player at his position because he has performed as such and this move in representation should help him secure that.
Puka Nacua never considered holding out from Rams
Many players in Nacua’s position entering the final year of their rookie deal with no contract extension would have chosen to hold out until a deal was reached. But not being at Rams training camp was never something he considered doing.
