The Los Angeles Rams had the best offense in the NFL during the 2025 season and the main reason for that was the play of quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Puka Nacua.

At the age of 37, Stafford had a career year for the Rams, leading the NFL in passing yards at 4,707 and passing touchdowns at 46 while only throwing eight interceptions.

Nacua is coming off a career year of his own in his third season with the Rams, leading the league in receptions with 129 with 1,715 receiving yards, 105 rushing yards and 11 total touchdowns. He did all that while only playing in 16 games.

After their outstanding regular seasons, both Stafford and Nacua were named Associated Press First Team All-Pros:

This is the highest honor players can receive for their play on the field outside of individual awards, and it is well-deserved for both Stafford and Nacua.

For both players, it is their first First Team AP All-Pro honors, although Nacua was named to the Second Team during his rookie season in 2023.

The All-Pro voters are also generally the same and the MVP voters, so this bodes well for Stafford in that race as well. New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, Stafford’s biggest competition for MVP, was named to the Second Team All-Pro.

Regardless, the Rams are a team with legit Super Bowl aspirations and are not focused on individual awards and recognition, although it is nice to see both Stafford and Nacua get the recognition they deserve.

Rams’ Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua win PFF awards

Stafford and Nacua were also recognized by Pro Football Focus was their outstanding seasons with the Rams. Stafford was named their MVP while Nacua was named their Offensive Player of the Year in their annual end-of-season awards.
