The Los Angeles Rams have established themselves as one of the best teams in the NFL this season. With arguably the MVP front-runner in quarterback Matthew Stafford, one of the league’s best receiving duos in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, a defense that is one of the best at pressuring the quarterback, and a top-tier coach in Sean McVay, the Rams have all the makings for a Super Bowl run.

At 10-3, the Rams currently sit atop the NFC, but teams are right on their heels. The division-rival Seattle Seahawks have the same record while the Green Bay Packers are right there as well at 9-3-1. The road to the Super Bowl definitely won’t be an easy one, but the Rams can get one step closer if they can pick up a win on Sunday.

The Rams are set to host the explosive Detroit Lions in Week 15 in what should be an excellent matchup and if L.A. can pick up the win, they will clinch a playoff berth, via NFL on X:

With the Seahawks having the same record, the Rams are unable to clinch the NFC West title just yet and the two teams will face off in Week 16 in Seattle with that game all but deciding who will take the division. But locking in a spot in the postseason is a big step in reaching their ultimate goal.

Defeating the Lions won’t be an easy task as they have arguably the top offensive weapon in the NFL in running back Jahmyr Gibbs. Additionally, the Lions, despite their 8-5 record, are currently on the outside looking in at the playoffs and badly need a victory if they plan on returning to the postseason.

But the Rams are no strangers to games with major implications and there is no doubt McVay will have his team ready for the challenge when they step on the field Sunday afternoon.

Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been one of the best offensive players in the league all season long and in Week 14 he was completely unguardable, finishing the game with seven catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns. With that performance, Nacua was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
