The Dallas Cowboys began training camp at the end of July without superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons, who is holding out for a new contract.
With little-to-no progress being made, the four-time Pro Bowler sent shockwaves through the NFL when he publicly requested a trade last week.
While Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been adamant that Parsons isn’t going anywhere, fans on social media continue to fantasize about their favorite team trading for the 26-year-old.
In response to a photoshop of Parsons in a Los Angeles Rams uniform, Aaron Donald suggested that he would come out of retirement if the team acquires him:
It’s honestly pretty simple, trade for Micah Parsons and Aaron Donald comes out of retirement.@RamsNFL @AaronDonald97 @MicahhParsons11

It isn’t clear how serious Donald was with his post, but the thought of him and Parsons on the same defensive line would be scary for any quarterback.
The Rams, however, should be considered a long shot to acquire Parsons due to their cap situation. It’s the same reason why they did not pull off a trade for Jalen Ramsey earlier this summer.
L.A. is still projected to have one of the best defensive lines in football, led by Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Kobie Turner and Byron Young.
Donald, meanwhile, has enjoyed retirement and previously hinted at pursuing an acting career.
Aaron Donald believes Rams will be ‘much better’ in 2025
After falling just short of the NFC Championship Game last season and making several additions to their roster, Aaron Donald believes the Rams will be much improved this year.
“A better year. Obviously, the offense is going to be stand-packed. Still got a lot of veteran guys, a lot of good players. But when it pertained to the defense, had a young defense that pressed a lot of people. Now they’re coming back for a second year together. They got that experience with each other,” Donald said.
“I know they’re going to be that much better with each other. The more you play with the team, play with guys, the more comfortable you feel. You understand. How to play off guys, and do things like that. So I’m hoping that it’s going to be a better year than what it was last year, and it was a pretty good year. So I’m just going to be, as a fan in the stands, or on the couch watching, cheering them on. That’s it. But sky’s the limit for them guys.”
