Here are some more details on the NFL’s Rivalries programs and the Rams’ involvment with them set to wear the new uniforms against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 16, via TheRams.com:
The National Football League and Nike have teamed up to launch Rivalries, a bold new uniform and fan gear initiative designed to spotlight the passion, pride, and competitive spirit of NFL division matchups. Over the next four seasons, the program will roll out specially designed Nike uniforms and apparel collections that bring local culture and team identity to life.
To kick off the program, teams from the AFC East (Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, and Jets) and NFC West (Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, and Cardinals) will participate during the 2025 season.
Each of the eight teams will wear their custom-designed Rivalries uniform during a single home game against a division rival. For the Los Angeles Rams, that game will take place on Saturday, November 16, when they host the Seattle Seahawks at SoFi Stadium at 1:05 p.m. PT. The game marks the official debut of the Rams’ new Rivalries uniform—a look inspired by the team’s deep connection to the city of Los Angeles and the energy of one of the NFL’s most intense division rivalries.
Considering how much L.A. fans have been thirsting for a new uniform, the Rivalries merchandise will likely sell very well once the jerseys are unveiled.
Similar to the NBA’s City Connect uniforms, the NFL’s Rivalries program is designed to support the local community in some way. The Rams are set to wear these new alternate uniforms for the next three seasons, adding another option in addition to their blue, white and bone uniforms.
Sean McVay feels good about Rams’ secondary
The Rams reported to training camp this week and maybe one of the only weaknesses on the roster on paper comes in the secondary. Despite not making any significant moves to address it, Sean McVay is confident in the players the organization has in place.
