The Los Angeles Rams will enter the 2025 NFL season as one of the few legitimate Super Bowl contenders after their busy offseason.

The Rams had an impressive 2025 NFL Playoff run that ended in heartbreaking fashion, losing on the final drive to the eventual Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite Los Angeles’ overall lack of experience in the postseason the team performed well on the road and came the closest to beating Philadelphia.

With so much momentum, the Rams took advantage of this small window by making a series of moves to bolster their chances of adding another title. Los Angeles restructured Matthew Stafford’s deal, signed Davante Adams in free agency and came away with six exciting prospects from the 2025 NFL Draft. All of the organization’s move signal a team that’s all-in on winning a Super Bowl this upcoming season.

The 2025 NFL schedule was recently released and it turns out that the Rams will be traveling the second-most miles of any team, via Bill Speros of Bookies.com:

NFL 2025-26 MILES TRAVELED

The 32 NFL teams will cover a total of 625,947 miles this season, averaging 19,561 per team, and 2,301 per trip. 6 NFL teams will travel more miles than it takes to go around the world.

The L.A. Chargers and Rams being at the top of the list makes sense as both teams will find themselves playing games internationally during the regular season. The Chargers are opening the regular season in Sao Paolo, Brazil as the designated home team against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 5. Meanwhile, the Rams are crossing the Atlantic Ocean to play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 7.

On the flip side, the Cincinnati Bengals find themselves only traveling less than 9,000 miles during the 2025 season, more than three times less than the Rams. While teams get the entire week to rest and recover in between games, the travel mileage can add up over time and contribute to fatigue.

Head coach Sean McVay and the coaching staff will need to find ways to keep the roster fresh throughout the regular season, though there shouldn’t be too much concern given how well the organization takes care of its players.

Rams preseason schedule for 2025 NFL season against Cowboys, Chargers and Browns

Aside from the full 2025 NFL season schedule being released, the Rams’ preseason schedule and opponents were also announced. The Rams will take on the Dallas Cowboys, L.A. Chargers and Cleveland Browns before the 2025 season kicks off.
