This week has been a big one for the Los Angeles Rams organization as not only did they ink Aaron Donald to a new contract to keep him out of retirement, but head coach Sean McVay also got married.
That caps off an extremely successful year for McVay, who had a wedding cake that looked like the Lombardi Trophy he won with the Rams just a few months ago.
Considering how close McVay is with Rams players, it must have been difficult for him to narrow down the list of wedding guests.
Unfortunately, 2021 Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is currently a free agent, did not make the cut as McVay revealed that he only invited the team’s captains to the wedding.
That didn’t stop Beckham from attending the wedding though as McVay went on the IAMATHLETE podcast and told the hilarious story of Beckham crashing, to which he told the receiver that means he needs to re-sign with the team, via Bleacher Report:

Beckham has been in contract negotiations with the Rams all offseason with there being mutual interest in a reunion. Considering he is expected to miss the first half of the 2022 season after tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl though, neither side seems to be in a rush to get a deal done.
Now that McVay has made it clear that he wants Beckham to return and the Rams saved some cap space with their new deal for Donald, perhaps a deal for him is the next order of business.
The Rams already have one of the best receiving corps in the league with Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson and Van Jefferson, and the potential of adding Beckham to that midway through the season would be a scary sight for opposing teams as L.A. looks to defend its title in 2022.
