The Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl LVI 23-20 against the Cincinnati Bengals but for wide receiver Van Jefferson, that wasn’t even the biggest highlight of his night.
During the second half of the game, Jefferson’s wife, Samaria, left the game to head to a hospital while going into labor. Jefferson didn’t leave the game with her and stayed until the end with his team.
While he finished the game, his celebration was cut short as he quickly left the stadium to head to the hospital to be with his wife and son.
Later in the night, Jefferson shared a photo of him with his newborn son to his Instagram, via Lindsey Thiry of ESPN:

Jefferson finished Super Bowl LVI with four catches for 23 yards on eight targets. He also shared another photo of his wife and new child:

The moment Jefferson found out that his wife was going into labor, he immediately ran to the locker room to change so he could get to the hospital. Video was later released of that awesome moment:

While Jefferson had his own post-Super Bowl moment, Taylor Rapp also used the game as the opportunity to create a special memory.
Following the win, the 24-year-old safety proposed to his girlfriend Danielle Johnson.
Stafford will ‘never forget’ final Super Bowl drive
Down 20-16 with the clock winding down late in the fourth quarter, the Rams needed one more drive to regain the lead, and that’s exactly what they did, going 79 yards on 15 plays to score the game-winning touchdown.
Matthew Stafford targeted Cooper Kupp seven times on that drive, including in the end zone for the touchdown to cap it off with 1:27 to play.
After the game, Stafford, who has the most fourth-quarter comebacks in the NFL since he entered the league, said this is one he’ll never forget.
