After a long offseason, Week 1 of the 2021 season is finally here and fans will finally get to see the new-look Los Angeles Rams led by Matthew Stafford.

Since head coach Sean McVay took over, the Rams have opted to sit their starters during the preseason, which means their Week 1 tilt against the Chicago Bears will be the first time Stafford is officially under center. Los Angeles is currently considered one of the favorites to come out of the NFC because the defense remains elite while the offense could take a leap, giving the fanbase reasons to be optimistic about their chances.

Los Angeles will be a fun team to watch on the field and adding to the excitement is the debut of their brand new modern throwback jerseys. The Rams will be decked out in the new uniform scheme for Week 1 and released the rest of season uniform schedule, via the team’s official Twitter:

After Week 1, L.A. will be rocking the modern throwbacks against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday Night Football and lastly against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. For the rest of their home games, they will be wearing the royal set while donning bone on the road.

Unlike last season, the Rams have distinguished the jerseys by road and home, which is more in line with the rest of the league. Los Angeles has done a good job of rebranding themselves aesthetically and look to be well on their way to increasing merchandise sales with the updated looks.

However, the most important part will remain their on-the-field performance as the team is all in on a Super Bowl run. McVay, Stafford, and the rest of the roster have a lot of work to do to get there, but they have a good opportunity to start on the right foot this Sunday.
