Rams To Allow Fans On Field For Firework Show After Final Game At L.A. Memorial Coliseum

The Los Angeles Rams will be concluding their 2019 season this Sunday when they host the Arizona Cardinals for an NFC West divisional matchup.

Unfortunately, there are no playoff implications on the line for the Rams as they were officially eliminated with their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16. At 8-7 though, they will be playing for a winning season, which will be the third straight in the Sean McVay era.

Additionally, the game will be a special one as it will be the Rams’ final home game at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum before moving into their new home, SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood next season.

The Rams have called the Coliseum home for the last four seasons after moving from St. Louis, and there have been plenty of memorable moments in the stadium. To celebrate their time there, the Rams will be allowing fans to come onto the field for a firework show at the conclusion of the Week 17 game against the Cardinals, via Lindsey Thiry of ESPN:

Space will be limited though and fans will be allowed access onto the field on a first-come, first-served basis:

This is a nice gesture by the Rams to show some appreciation to the fans that have supported them, even through this disappointing 2019 season.

Hopefully, the firework show will be in celebration on one final win at the Coliseum to end the season on a high note going into 2020.
