For the first time in 20 years football is back in the city of Los Angeles as the Rams have left St. Louis and are heading back back to where their franchise began.
While it is possible that the Chargers decide to join them next season, the only NFL team in Los Angeles in 2016 will be the Rams as they will play their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as their stadium is being built in Inglewood.
With just a month before the beginning of training camp, it appears the Rams have struck an agreement with both ESPNLA 710 AM and The Sound 100.3 FM to be the official radio stations of the Rams, via SB Nation:
ESPNLA 710 AM will be the official home of the Rams for the next five years including:
An Eight-hour broadcast for every game including a three-hour pre-game show and two-hour post-game show
One-hour weekly Coach’s Show with Jeff Fisher, Mondays at 7 p.m. PT during the season
One-hour game preview show Thursdays at 7 p.m. PT during the season
Weekly segments with head coach Jeff Fisher and star Rams players
A daily “Rams Report”Additionally, 100.3 The Sound will be the official FM carrier.
Los Angeles opens up its season on Monday Sept. 12 in Santa Clara against the San Francisco 49ers. They join the Los Angeles Lakers, who also call ESPNLA 710 AM their radio home.
