After a disappointing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Terrelle Pryor was optimistic and believes there’s still hope the team can get into the playoffs despite a 2-4 start. However, head coach Dennis Allen says the playoffs are the last thing he’s worried about and his only concern is improving this team.
Improving the Raiders requires stability and Allen is convinced that Pryor is the starting quarterback of the present and future after five games. Even though Pryor was coming off the worst performance of his career in the NFL, Allen is fully confident that the entire organization will continue to build and grow with him.
Through six weeks, the fan base has seen great potential and a bright future ahead. However, there are concerns that the Raiders may not remain in Oakland until the City Council voted yesterday to extend the deadline to reach a new stadium by one year. This gives the fan base hope that the team will remain in Oakland for the foreseeable future.
