Every year, the NFL Network puts out its list of the ‘NFL’s Top 100 Players’ as voted on by the players themselves. Needless to say, the Los Angeles Rams’ star-studded roster was bound to show up eventually.
Not only did Los Angeles have a slew of Pro Bowl players last season, but they also managed to bring in a bevy of others this offseason as well. Coming in at No. 79 is newly-acquired cornerback Marcus Peters, via Rams Twitter:

It may have been a step back from his spot at No. 32 last year. However, it goes to show that he has still garnered respect around this league.
It goes without saying that Peters is one of the NFL’s premier playmakers on defense. There are very few who have displayed the type of prowess for forcing turnovers that he has. Since entering the league back in 2015, Peters has 19 interceptions and six forced fumbles. Although his aggressive style of play may get the better of him at times, his stellar success rate makes him one of the most lethal players on the field.
Despite entering just his fourth year, he has already earned two All-Pro selections and two trips to the Pro Bowl. However, he was among the notable changes to the Kansas City Chiefs decided to part ways with this offseason. Needless to say, the Rams were more than happy to deal or Peters given their looming cornerback situation at the time. Fortunately, Los Angeles has done more than address the issue by bringing in former Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib as well.
That said, the Rams can expect a number of other familiar faces to show up on this year’s list. Some names that could appear in the near future is quarterback Jared Goff and cornerback Aqib Talib, while players like running back Todd Gurley and defensive tackle Aaron Donald will likely not be named until much later.
