The Los Angeles Rams have remained one of the most active teams in the league after coming off their first playoff berth in well over a decade. Needless to say, the front office has been aggressive in retooling the roster to build off last season’s success.
However, this has seen wide receiver Sammy Watkins choose to sign elsewhere in free agency on a three-year, $48 million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. According to Michael Silver of Sports Illustrated, the Rams could be zoning on a possible replacement in wide receiver Terrelle Pryor.

The 28-year-old is coming off a disappointing lone season with the Washington Redskins that was cut short last November due to ankle surgery after just nine games. He was shortly released after making just 20 catches for 240 receiving yards and touchdown in his brief tenure in Washington.
He had inked a one-year, $8 million deal after a breakout year in 2016 in his first full season as a converted wide receiver from quarterback recording 77 catches for 1,007 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The Redskins had hoped he could step in as one of their top receiving options, but he struggled with consistency and his health that has ended his time with the team after just one season.
The Rams do not possess a pressing need to address their wide receiver position due to the presence of second-year wideouts Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds along with Robert Woods. However, the addition of another potential impact player at the position is something that the team looks to have interest in.
Pryor could possibly be acquired at a much more inexpensive rate than what most players at that position are hoping to get on the open market. He could wind up signing another one-year deal with a team to see if he can demonstrate that he can recapture his from from the 2016 campaign
