The Los Angeles Rams have clearly established themselves as one of the NFL’s powerhouses during the 2017 NFL season. At 8-3, the Rams are in first place in the NFC West division and look to be a look for the 2017 NFL playoffs.
Los Angeles has reinvented itself as a balanced team who can dominate a game on both sides of the football. Sean McVay and Wade Phillips have done wonders for the offense and defense, respectively, and have the team rolling as the season continues. However, the special teams unit has also made several big contributions to some of their wins this year.
Greg Zuerlein has been the league’s best kicker this season and according to Rams, he has once again been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month:
First player in @NFL history to be named back-to-back NFC Special Teams Player of the Month.
Congrats, GZ! 🎉

Zuerlein to this point has converted on all 33 extra point attempts as well as 32 of 34 field goal attempts. Los Angeles’ turbo-charged offense has provided the placekicker with plenty of opportunities and he has delivered almost every time.
The kicker is on pace to break the NFL record for points scored and should succeed given how well the Rams are playing on offense. He will surely have his fair share of opportunities to score when the Rams face off against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13.
