The return of the Los Angeles Rams prior to the 2016 NFL season was met with the passion and adoration of countless fans who had long-awaited for their team to come home. However, it came with the obligation to house another team in the extravagant Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park that is currently under construction.
The Los Angeles Chargers then abruptly packed their bags and uprooted their entire organization to become the Rams new co-tenants. Since their arrival, they have declared the ‘Fight For LA’ in an attempt to coerce any fans in Los Angeles that may be seeking a new team to root for.
Needless to say, the Rams wasted no time in giving the Chargers what they asked for during a joint practice at the University of California, Irvine:

Fights in training camp are certainly not a rare occurrence. However, the possibility of a budding rivalry in the second-largest market in the country definitely has its intrigue.
Thanks to their near 50-year history in Los Angeles, there is no doubt the Rams are the heavy favorites in this town. As a result, any possibility the Chargers might have of capturing a small percentage of that would be reliant on their on-field success.
Given that the Rams and Chargers are in different conferences, there is a slim chance they would ever actually engage in any game with meaning. However, this scuffle does possibly set up a hostile showdown between these two teams when they meet in Week 3 of the preseason at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
