The Carolina Panthers rolled to the NFC Title defeating the Arizona Cardinals 49-15 in a game that never seemed in doubt. The Panthers will now meet the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California. Earlier the Broncos upset the New England Patriots, 20-18 in a tight game that came down to the last few plays.

Sportsbook.ag opened with Carolina as a 2.5 point favorite vs Denver with a 3 minutes left in the NFC Title game.

For the third straight season, but only the fourth time in the prior 22 seasons, the number one seeds from both conferences will meet in the league championship game.

Cam Newton leads the 17-1 Panthers to their second Super Bowl appearance since 2004, when they lost to the Patriots in Houston, Texas. In that game Tom Brady led the Patriots to a 32-29 victory capped by a late 41 yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri.

In Denver, Peyton Manning did enough behind a incredible team defensive effort to earn his 4th trip to the Super Bowl; his second with the Denver Broncos. Manning last won it all in 2006 with the Indianapolis Colts in a game where we was named Super Bowl MVP to go along with his season MVP.

In a departure from the NFL tradition of using Roman numerals, this game is marketed in Arabic numerals as “Super Bowl 50” instead of Super Bowl L (the Roman numeral for 50). The game is scheduled to be played on February 7, 2016, at 6:30 pm Eastern time at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This will be the first Super Bowl held in the San Francisco Bay Area since Super Bowl XIX in January 1985.

CBS will be broadcasting the game in the United States. Jim Nantz is expected to do the play-by-play, with Phil Simms as his analyst. Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn are slated as the sideline reporters, and Coldplay heads the halftime show ceremonies along with Beyonce and Bruno Mars.
