The NFL announced that Los Angeles Rams players Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey have been named to the Pro Bowl.

Even though the game is not actually being played this year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, being named to the Pro Bowl is still a tremendous honor in this league.

For Donald, this marks the seventh time in as many seasons with the Rams that he has been given Pro Bowl honors. As usual, he is very deserving, leading the league with 12.5 sacks to go along with 11 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles.

Donald is the leading inside rusher in the NFL in every Pro Football Focus category, which just goes to show how dominant he has been this season as he looks to win his third NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in the last four seasons.

As great as Donald has been, Ramsey has been just as good at the cornerback position on a Rams defense that is one of the best in the NFL. Ramsey’s stats may not be spectacular, recording 38 total tackles, one interception and four passes defensed in 13 games, but that is because he has been so dominant that quarterbacks have not targeted whoever he is guarding.

Ramsey has shut down top receivers such as DK Metcalf and DeAndre Hopkins, establishing himself as the best cover corner in the league this season. This is Ramsey’s fourth straight year making the Pro Bowl.
